DGé is a young, self-taught contemporary artist, who lives in Paris, France. Most of her career has been in in the movie industry.
Her drawing are executed in a single continuous line – without lifting the pen from the paper and without looking at the “paper” on which she is drawing. The line is the pulse of the present moment, with its tension and atmosphere preserved.
A kind of automatic drawing.
Her ink work on paper are emerging from the observation of a real situation (movement, posture, facial expression). The drawing grows in an imaginary space and then create a new metaphorical world.
